The Uderfrykte Matron

The Uderfrykte Matron is a unique troll found near Dive Rock. The Matron is the mother of the original Udyrfrykte which was featured in the quest The Mead Hall Massacre in the Bloodmoon expansion for TES III: Morrowind. She is part of a non-journal quest in which you find Agnar's Journal and have the option of finding and killing the Uderfrykte Matron. She is found east of Dive Rock in a small, flat clearing near a tree and Agnar's body.

The Uderfrykte Matron is scripted to be partially invisible with a frost shader (as seen in the image), however this script doesn't always work, so some players may see her as either a normal troll or totally invisible.

Notes

• The Udyrfrykte Matron is similar to a normal troll in that she has a weakness to fire. This makes fire spells or a weapon enchanted with fire damage a good choice. She also has frost resistance, so don't try to use frost spells.
• There is an Udefrykte in Skyrim.
