Trumbe is a small Ayleid ruin northwest of Kvatch containing undead. It contains only one zone, Trumbe.

Notes[edit]

  • Trumbe is mentioned in Grommok's Journal as one of the dungeons the adventurers tried to loot, and is where Dawnfang/Duskfang was discovered.
  • Despite Grommok saying in his journal that a trap in Trumbe broke Syndelius' arm and almost "crushed him to death", no traps are located in this ruin.

Zone 1: Trumbe[edit]

Trumbe

From the entry door (Out) you find yourself in a corridor leading northeast (past one enemy) to the gate at C, which is initially closed but can be opened simply by stepping on the pressure plate. From that point there are multiple options to make it through to the boss chest (B).

  1. To deal with the fewest possible enemies (only two), jump down from the elevated walkway in the first room, and take the southern corridor, leading to gate E, which is opened by the nearby press block. This route has no additional treasure though.
  2. The most obvious path is to head straight across the elevated walkway and go through the large southeastern room. Here you will find three enemies, though often the two below the walkway will be alerted and join the fight. There are also two minor loot chests and four Welkynd stones high up on pedestals, so use arrows or spells to knock them off. Continue southwest past two more minor loot chests and an enemy until you reach gate E.
  3. The third option is to jump down in the first room and take the northern corridor, which takes you past two enemies, a minor loot chest and four Welkynd stones on low pedestals. You will eventually reach the gate at D, which is opened by the nearby press block.

The final room hosts the boss chest (B), two minor loot chests and four Welkynd stones on low pedestals, all guarded by the boss-level Undead at A.
