Avoiding drain health

I have the 1st wraithguard and i have completed the main quest, i heard about the 2nd wraithguard and it sounded too good to be true, so i did all the nessasary steps to go about getting it, and then i found out that it drains 200 health permanently, is there any way to get around this drain of health?? im playing on the xbox GOTY version — Unsigned comment by 66.82.9.56 (talk) on 28 March 2009

"Jury rig"

The item ID contains "jury rig". This is a typo for "jerry rig", albeit a common one. Someone asserted in edit summary that these are equivalent, but they are not. See any dictionary. "Jury rig" means to use threats, extortion or other means to tamper with a jury and the outcome of its deliberations. Jerry rig means to cobble something together, and has a completely different origin. Per the Style Guide, we should faithfully reproduce this typo when referring to the item ID, but we should not (per common sense and good writing) perpetuate the error otherwise. "Not to be confused with Jury tampering.

Jury rigging is the use of makeshift repairs or temporary contrivances, made with only the tools and materials that happen to be on hand, originally in a nautical context."

In my experience, "jury-rig" is a far more common phrase. Additionally, "jury-rig" appears to predate "jerry-rig" by at least a century. In any event, it isn't a typo for the other. Echo (talk) 04:45, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

The idea that "jerry rigged" is correct and "jury rigged" isn't is a common misconception. "Jerry rig" didn't become a phrase until the 20th century, and it's thought to be a mixup between "jury rig" and "jerry built". "Jury rig" is the more appropriate phrase. Don't believe me? Google it.
