my guess is it relates to theology, theism, from the greek root theos meaning god - insofar as the origin for the "theo" part. so, a term for a divine man i suppose, or a man striving for divinity. given that this note appears in morrowind probably referring to dagoth ur, especially with the references to the heart and dreams
