Chaplain Ogrul

Chaplain Ogrul is an Orc healer who serves the Imperial Cult at Fort Darius in Gnisis. He sells ingredients, potions, and spells to all who need them. If you bring him some potions during the Gathering Muck quest, he will reward you with one of four Restore Attribute spells. Ogrul is a restocking vendor for the following ingredients: Ash Yam, Crab Meat, Marshmerrow, Rat Meat, Saltrice, and Wickwheat.

He is wearing a common robe with a matching pair of shoes as well as a leveled amulet and a leveled ring. He carries a leveled soul gem as well as all the ingredients he has for sale. Like all Orcs, he has a natural resistance to magicka, and can boost his health, fatigue and attack for short periods, at the cost of his agility. In addition, he also knows a variety of spells, which you can buy from him.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Welcome, %PCRank %PCName. Welcome to the Fort Darius shrine. While you're up here, take a look around Fort Darius. The Legion is always looking for loyal, able citizens of good character. Speak to General Darius over at Madach's Tradehouse. Now, is there any specific place you'd like to see while you're here? Any services you need?"

If you've started the Gathering Muck quest:

"Welcome, %PCRank %PCName. Welcome to the Fort Darius shrine. You're up here for Shand's muck? Look up in Gnisis village, east of the Temple. Just help yourself. It's all arranged with Shand. Now, is there any specific place you'd like to see while you're here? Any services you need?"

If you have the potions in your inventory:

"Welcome, %PCRank %PCName. Welcome to the Fort Darius shrine. And many thanks to you and Synnolian for the Restore Health potions. Our stock was very low. While you're up here, take a look around Fort Darius. The Legion is always looking for loyal, able citizens of good character. Speak to General Darius over at Madach's Tradehouse. Now, before you go, can I return your favor?"
"Hello again, %PCName. Thanks again for the potions. Now, is there any specific place you'd like to see while you're here? Any services you need? Someone in particular you're looking for?"
  • Darius:
"Darius is the Commandant of the Deathshead Legion Garrison here. It's no picnic keeping the peace between the human and orc troopers, but it's a tribute to his reputation and leadership that he keeps the garrison morale up and the unit up to strength."
  • return your favor:
"So Synnolian suggested I might teach you a little trick, eh? Well, I might at that. In fact, I'll give you a choice. Which would you rather learn? A restore strength spell? A restore willpower spell? A restore speed spell? Or a restore luck spell?"
Restore strength, please.: "As you wish. [Chaplain Ogrul teaches you his version of the Restore Strength spell.] There. I hope you find it useful. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my duties. Farewell, and give my regards to Synnolian." (You receive "Ogrul's_Strong_Again")
Restore willpower, please.: "As you wish. [Chaplain Ogrul teaches you his version of the Restore Willpower spell.] There. I hope you find it useful. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my duties. Farewell, and give my regards to Synnolian." (You receive "Ogrul's_Staunch_Again")
Restore speed, please.: "As you wish. [Chaplain Ogrul teaches you his version of the Restore Speed spell.] There. I hope you find it useful. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my duties. Farewell, and give my regards to Synnolian." (You receive "Ogrul's_Quick_Again")
Restore luck, please.: "As you wish. [Chaplain Ogrul teaches you his version of the Restore Luck spell.] There. I hope you find it useful. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my duties. Farewell, and give my regards to Synnolian." (You receive "Ogrul's_Lucky_Again")
No spell for me, thanks.: "As you wish. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must return to my duties. Farewell, and give my regards to Synnolian."
"Hmm. You wouldn't want me to think you greedy, eh? One trick is all you get."
