Refers to Sea or Entity?[edit]
Looking at the references on this page, I'm not sure that it is referring to a body of water but rather a name for the ocean itself. Similar in usage to "Mother Earth/Nature"--Talyyn (talk) 15:30, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- I would like to think that the Mother Sea refers to the body of water around Pyandonea, but there is very little to make it so. But I feel like that if it wasn't, then they would refer to it as the Eltheric Ocean, or the Abecean Sea, etc. And based on the Castire reference, "I'll drag him to the bottom of Mother Sea if it's the last thing I do." I'd assume that Mother Sea is a body of water, but maybe not around Pyandonea unless they say it specifically was. --Vincentius1 (talk) 17:07, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
- That's kinda the problem here. "I'd like to think" changes depending on who "I" is. You might assume it is an actual body of water, but I definitely read it as an entity, just as Talyyn is.... might be best to remove the page entirely and add a note to the Pyandonea page of some sort, though with so little to go on, I'm not even sure it deserves a mention. In addition, the following dialogue line is also in the lang file: "May Mother Sea embrace you kindly until we meet again." Which really makes it seem like a mother nature type entity not an ocean. - If it is a mother nature type entity, then I suppose it could be mentioned on the maormer page under culture/religion.--Talyyn (talk) 01:51, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
- Considering that there's no information about what Mother Sea is, it is far too speculative to say anything other than that Maormer often speak of her in reverence (which I suppose could be added to the Maormer page). This page consists of pure guesswork and contains too little information to justify its existence, and should therefore be deleted. —Aran Anumarile Autaracu Alatasel (talk) 08:36, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
