Restoration[edit]

The reason this section was deleted from Lore:Death was because of the creation of Lore:Lifespan which has all of this info in an organized manner. I don't think any alterations have been made since so I worry that this page is unnecessary. Mindtrait0r (talk) 15:49, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

I don't think that page has all of this info. For instance, I don't see anything about scrolls of revival, nor do I see any mention of the Telvanni. Seems to me like the info from Lore:Death was outright deleted. The Lore:Lifespan article touches upon the same topic but it's completely rewritten. —Legoless (talk) 20:18, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
Scrolls of Revival are mentioned in the Spellcraft section, Telvanni aren't directly mentioned but Divayth Fyr is specifically cited which is the same thing this page does, as well as being pictured.
"Rare scrolls have been known to rejuvenate and resurrect fallen individuals moments after their death."
"Divayth Fyr lived for over four thousand years using magic, but did not consider himself an immortal."
With Divayth in particular there is in fact more info on Lifespan, referencing his claim to not be an immortal which would seem to discredit his inclusion on this page. When making Lifespan, I looked at this page and checked for anything I missed which is why I claim there isn't anything new it offers. There might be a scant detail here or there that is not included in Lifespan but overall I think the subject of immortality is better discussed over there. Perhaps if Immortality, Aging, and Resurrection were all separated into different articles this page would be justified and provide unique information, but with the three being combined on Lifespan I don't see it. I'm open to discussing a split over on that page, though. Mindtrait0r (talk) 21:04, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
