Inert Daedric Spellstone

Spellstone is a magical alloy created by the great mage Shalidor. It is said that Shalidor traveled to multiple Oblivion planes, collecting crystals from at least five different realms. Through a highly perilous transmutation spell, he fused these crystals together to create an alloyed spell-focus.

Around 2E 282, a member of the Antiquarian Circle of the University of Gwylim discovered a spellstone on the isle of Eyevea. Regrettably, centuries of neglect had left this particular spellstone in an inert state. Nevertheless, despite the passage of many years without use, it still retained its status as one of the most concentrated collections of Padomaic matter.
