Ouze (otherwise known as Ooze[1]) is a sprawled-out ruin adorned with engravings of triskelions, situated along the eastern banks of the Xylo River, near the city-state of Silvenar in Valenwood. Ouze houses the spirits of Oathbreakers, those who have broken the sacred laws of the Green Pact, as well as those who would not give up their shapeshifting abilities. In Ouze's tar-pits, the Oathbreakers are stripped of their life and left in eternal slumber. The strongest of the Oahbreakers was Guardian Celonron.[2][3] Voice of Ouze was another prominent Oathbreaker who acted as mediator between Yffre's faithful and their kin.[4] In 2E 582, the Order of the Black Worm defiled the grounds of Ouze, attempting to resurrect the dead that were buried there. Their plot was foiled by Ouze's guardians.[5][6][7]
