Kruntharth was a notorious Sea Giant pirate and leader of the raiders. Leading an armada of ships, Kruntharth subjected Solitude to a harrowing siege until High King Svargrim valiantly confronted and defeated the fearsome Sea Giant, ending his reign of terror and bringing relief to the people of Western Skyrim.[1][2]
History[edit]
In the early years of High King Svargrim's reign, approximately around 2E 563, Kruntharth, the fearsome Sea Giant orchestrated an armada's invasion upon the shores of Western Skyrim, instigating a relentless siege on the walls of Solitude. Unfazed by the impending threat to their prosperous kingdom, High King Svargrim, the Wolf of Solitude, rallied his bravest warriors and assembled a fleet to confront the Sea Giant marauders. Accounts describe a legendary confrontation wherein Svargrim himself confronted Kruntharth atop the towering mast, as the colossal warrior demanded tribute and submission of Svargrim's people. Undeterred, High King Svargrim leaped from the crow's nest, engaging Kruntharth in a ferocious battle and ultimately slaying the Sea Giant by tearing his throat open. The valiant act of their leader inspired Svargrim's soldiers, who followed suit by boarding Kruntharth's floating fortress and vanquishing the remaining giants, casting them into the depths of the sea.[1][2][UOL 1]
