Just need a little help

A different bit of help from a different person

This is an even bigger NOOB question but i'm trying to create a table of contents on my User Page, i've got the table and i've added the links into it. The links in the table were each going to a different section, how can i get these links to work I.E The links in the table of contents each immediately show a different section of my User Page?--Repeater 16:47, 17 April 2009 (EDT)

You can link to sections on a page using #. For instance, [[Oblivion:Oblivion#World Information]] links direct to the World Information section of the Oblivion:Oblivion page. To link to a section on the current page, you can just use the # without the page name, so #A different bit of help from a different person links to this topic. You can use the | character in the usual way to provide a different link text like this.

Missing Info?

I may just be missing some of the Info for these page, but on many Quest Giver Pages I see special kinds of Links being used like {Quest Link|...}} which give an additional little blurb about the Quest. — Unsigned comment by Thedestroyer (talk • contribs) on 12:56 5 January 2025‎

Yeah, list of quests typically use the {{Quest Link}} template. This automatically bolds the quest title and includes the quest's description. You can use it by adding a pipe ("|") and then the name of the quest after Quest Link and inside the brackets, like so: {{Quest Link|Fargoth's Ring}}. You can also add an * before the template to to add a bullet, producing something that looks like this.

• Fargoth's Ring: Return a missing ring and win favor with the owner and his friends.
