These are a few notable comments from Anne Jindra, part of the Council of Wisdom, on The Elder Scrolls setting. She refers to herself as Aliera of Wayrest, as Aliera was her screenname at the time, which was picked up for the Queen Aliera character later featured in the King Edward books.

Facebook Profile for Aliera Ra'athim (Archive)[edit]
About Aliera: Love is not my friend. In my prime I married a man whom I did not love and united our kingdoms, only to fall for a Prince. We had a son and I fled my new home, uniting in Ebonheart.

On King Edward (2018-05-27)[edit]
I recently started launching Reviews etc. since we've been Betaing forever and I went back to re-read the character that Bethesda created with my handle. I realized that I had two rando missing pieces of lore. 1- What they wrote, including gameplay was indirectly influenced by the fact that my Dad was Akatosh (A.k.a. The Old Smaug Himself) and 2- they sent us a proto-entry for the book quests where I fall in love with Moraelyn and it got cut- because I was 13. There were heaving bosoms etc. So rando facts, if you thought that Queen Aliera was tangled up in the story of Akatosh, that's because she was IRL, Akatosh was my dad (he recently passed away) and if you wonder how Moraelyn and Aliera met, he showed up at the castle while the King was away, and a few pretty loyal castle guards were the only ones who might have known what happened that Prince Edward showed up.

On Aliera and her Empire's origins (2018-12-05)[edit]
Aliera was a fictional character from the King Edward series of books. She was the Queen of Wayrest, and was married to King Corcyr (of Daggerfall). In a complicated series of events, she met and fell in love with the Dunmer, Moraelyn. It is later revealed that Moraelyn and Aliera together produced a son, Edward. There is a series of books in Daggerfall that reveals their affair, and the Empire it produced...

r/Arena Introduction (2019-02-26)[edit]
Hello! I'm in a unique position when talking about games, especially this one. I'm Aliera of Wayrest- from the Daggerfall Book Quests. My father was Akatosh, A.k.a. The Old Smaug himself. Way back when I was 13 years old I ran around CompuServe with a bunch of gamers, and helped critique the design of Arena and Daggerfall (even got to meet the crew, and went back and forth some with the test group). 25 years later I decided to play the games again and kind of share what that was like (I have a degree in the field now).
- Are you willing to confirm or deny whether a Dragon break occurred on the final day of testing?
Not that I'm aware of? Could you be more specific, because for them that could be anything from a massive forum discussion on the realms and fauna, or a massive bug fail. Are you referring to the panther crash where they had to buy my dad's computer an airline seat in order to pull his hard drive, find the bug and make deadline? Fairly sure that was Daggerfall.
On Beta Testing the Games (2019-07-09)[edit]
25 Years after Daggerfall, I decided to go back to the old stomping grounds and do a playthrough. It was always my Dad's thing, so I trended into adventure games, but we would talk occasionally about the various and sundry that had gone down with my Empire and his becoming a God - so hopefully I know some entertaining Easter Eggs and backstory that you'll find enjoyable.
Arena was one of the newer games, using the first person perspective, which lent itself to Elder Scrolls adoption of open world play and polygonal graphics. We never knew what we were getting into when we downloaded the Beta, booted it up, and started poking around.
On King Edward, Part XII (2019-08-15)[edit]
The last part of my story- but the most lore heavy, if you've never found it. I was an anti-villain, I did literally every bad thing that the heroes and kings in the story of Daggerfall did- but I united Tamriel by doing so, as an independent strong willed female- it was an incredible role!
