Daggerfall Mod talk:BIOG??T0.TXT Files
For my next trick (work schedule permitting), I'll clean up the misc. items major section, add the Fatigue and Health major section, then tackle the introductory sections, then upload my file format description (in ABNF). Lastly I'll start the section of known but unidentified codes/tags. RAAWWWR! Hrmm... I think I'll need a bigger hat. Uniblab 08:31, 21 November 2006 (EST)
I'm in the middle of cleaning up the Biography system, and since it seems at least one person has noticed this, so I'll state my goals.
- Edit the existing information into actual technical documentation where possible
- Re-write information which cannot be saved via simple editing
- Add new content to include that which is not explicitly covered, or incompletely covered
Ensure attribution is explicit and accurate for all sections[old habbits die hard - Uniblab 23:35, 19 November 2006 (EST)]
I'm certain this will take no more than a few days, and I really appreciate any input.

This article must be divided[edit]
This article has simpily become to big. I think the article should be divided into sections. Anyone willing to work on this? -- Dylnuge(talk · edits) 23:41, 19 November 2006 (EST)
- I agree the article needs to be divided, and after I complete my attempts at the clean-up I'd like to follow through with that bit of work too. I think the tables should be moved into a seperate set of appendexes, and a set of anoted examples should be made available too, but splitting the document before the clean-up is complete (or at least "mostly" complete) would be premature. Done. Some recommenditions for Uniblab:
- Use wiki formatting in your edits. Learn it if you don;t know it, HTML works but is annoying.
- Line breaks do not appear without <br>, but this is no reason for having them in places where they fit your screen. Other editors will have problems reading them.
- No attribution, No first person. Make all parts of the article seem like it is an encyclopedia article.
- No horozontal rules (----). Really. They are annoying, distracting, and unnessicary. They are auto placed, and any others are not needed. -- Dylnuge(talk · edits) 21:14, 20 November 2006 (EST)
- Re: recommendations from Dylunge:
- I am indeed trying to learn the wiki formatting psuedotags, and the UESP style-sheet. Thanks for your patience.
- Attribution/first-person
- I've been spending the last few days removing the original author's first person perespective, not adding my own; I'm in complete agrement with you.
- I don't believe there are any remaining attribution lines, and I'm quite sorry I injected in the first place (an old habbit). My thanks in advance if anyone kills some :I've overlooked.

i'm back[edit]
So I took a brief rest for the last few days… but I'm back now. Work is under control again yessindeedysireebob. eh-yup. Uniblab 22:27, 29 November 2006 (EST)
Deletion and Copy of History from Archived Version[edit]
The archived version should be deleted, since it does not get updated and therefore does not serve as an undivided version. However, since there is a huge edit history, this should be moved to the current page. Any admins willing to help with this. Thanks. -- Dylnuge(talk · edits) 22:13, 3 December 2006 (EST)
- Oops, I provided comments on this at [[Daggerfall_Talk:BIOG%3F%3FT0.TXT_Files/Archive|the archive talk page]] instead of here. Yes, it's possible, I'd just like to be sure that everyone involved wants it done before trying to tackle it. So if you could just provide feedback there, that would be helpful. --Nephele 22:56, 3 December 2006 (EST)
- Since I recently placed a DR on the /Archive, then by all means make it so, Number One ⌈Uniblab 23:44, 3 December 2006 (EST)⌋
OK, I finally got up the courage to do this: the original creation history of this page has been merged in with the most recent history of edits, so the history of the page now contains some 150 edits going back to April 2005. And the archive page now has basically no history. I'll put the archive page up for proposed deletion, which should be the last step of this messy process. --Nephele 21:10, 16 December 2006 (EST)
- Forgive me if the following sounds rehersed (I say it to my barmaid often), but I simply must state for the record in a most unequivical fashion and demeanor:
you are awesome

wrapping up[edit]
I don't think I'll ever be able to decode the final few tags, so I'm about done playing with this. I may pop back in as I learn something, or get the urge to clean it up, but this page is no longer my primary concern. I still have some major work ahead of me on the remainder of the Daggerfall category, work that is both enjoyable and necessary. ⌈Uniblab 08:15, 23 December 2006 (EST)⌋
more values[edit]
rr = reaction roll(or whatever its called, something like that and it fits the initials anyway.....what the stat does is affect the initial reaction level people have to you. lower and they tend to like you less, higher they'd like you more) th = to hit ft = fatigue
There must be more of these for other stats too but not sure where they'd go. (taken from healer's class question on what i have trouble with) --24.38.235.96 23:30, 16 September 2012 (GMT)

Typo in latest patches?[edit]
The text for items A and B are merged into one scrawl for the ``You are told a young man has been caught by the village guards... biography question. Can anyone fix that while I work out World Unit to Map Pixel conversions? Uniblab (talk) 01:35, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
