Wereboars are half-man, half-boar lycanthropes, whose attacks have a slight chance of passing their curse onto you. They can be hit by weapons of silver quality or higher.
In classic, wereboars (and others) use a "multi-roll per attack" mechanic, landing 0 to 3 damage rolls at random depending on the Player Reflex setting. With the many rolls involved, damage could have wide variation. In this Enemy Expansion, the wereboar has a reliable single-roll attack.
Enemy Expansion changed wereboars to a level 11 monster (up from 8), with 1 armor class (up from 3).
Abilities[edit]
- Each time a wereboar hits you, there is a 0.6% chance of contracting Lycanthropy from the attack.

Fighting Strategies[edit]
If you don't wish to become a wereboar yourself, ranged attacks are safer at lower levels. Higher levels can quickly dispatch a wereboar with melee attacks.
