finding the cave

alot of ppl have complained about not finding the cave or finding it by fluke luck. so for my sanity and for the sanity of other people updating this page i give you some quick problem solving tips. 1) make sure you have been told to seek the cave. the cave door will not appear otherwise and you will wonder the island lost forever more. 2) try walking straight north from the earth stone looking for a sunken ruin in black rocks its near impossible to miss. 3) if you are suffering from a snow storm it is recommended to rest near Raven Rock untill the storm passes and head north from there. again it is hard to miss in clear weather. to be honest i only fount it first time by looking at a exterior shot and walking around blindly till i fount a simular area.

Updated directions

I have mostly replaced the directions provided as the previous version, which read, "You should quickly reach Bloodskal Barrow, which is locked (20) and trapped, but this small tomb is obviously not what you are looking for. Like before, the directions are only approximate and the Cave of Hidden Music is more north from the Earth Stone than northeast (map)", seemed only to serve the purpose of lamenting the vague directions provided by the standing stone and point readers to the UESP map, while potentially misleading readers into thinking the Cave is near or north of Bloodskal barrow. Instead, I've given two easy to follow routes using more relevant landmarks, the nearby peninsula and the terrain shift. If this is disagreeable to anyone, feel free to change the directions to whatever you feel is more clear. 65.182.235.190 12:55, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
