Quest Names

Where do these names like "Stop the Messenger" actually come from? In Morrowind there are no quest names, there are journal entries only. Is "Stop the Messenger" just uesp's idea for naming it? 212.186.15.63 08:49, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Starting with the Tribunal expansion, names were added to almost all quests. They are not shown in the journal entries themselves, but if you open your Journal in-game and select "Options", then "Quests", you will see a list of quest names. You can select whether to show active quests only (i.e. quests you have not yet completed), or all quests including completed ones. This is where the quest names on UESP Wiki come from; they are taken directly from the game. — Wolfborn↝^(Howl) 10:57, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
