The Wolfender Silver Dagger is a quest item?[edit]
For what quest? I don't see any quest that involves this weapon. Can someone explain it? --Giant Lizard (talk) 23:02, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
- I don't see any quest involvement, but if the game treats it like a quest item it belongs here. That would need tested ingame. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 23:16, 17 February 2018 (UTC)

- What do you mean that the game treats it like a quest item? Is there a tag or something that you can see somewhere? Sorry, I'm playing the Xbox version so I don't know. Anyway, if it's as you say, maybe we should write it in the description box, no? --Giant Lizard (talk) 23:20, 17 February 2018 (UTC)
Wolfgiver Silver Dagger[edit]
Just in case you get the same ideas I did about this not dagger belonging here I'm copying over some of the discussion Thalass and I had on the Unique Items talk page about why this should be here:
- "I reversed the change that placed the Wolfgiver dagger here, as it genuinely appears to be a quest item in that:
-
-
- It fits the quest item criteria mentioned above. The same is not true of the Wolfender dagger (which has no known quest associated with it).
- It spawns during the Wolfgiver quest and cannot be acquired before
- It is used in a ceremony of ritual sacrifice, in which the NPC specifically refers to the dagger in their dialogue. Ettiene: "Your next step is simple. You must kill the innocent, remove her heart, and bring it to me. There is a dagger on the altar, but any weapon will do"
- In that sense, while the dagger is not technically required to complete the quest, it is obviously an intended part of the ritual (and thus the quest)."
