Unholy forces have corrupted the caves beyond the portal, making creatures inside impervious to all physical and elemental attacks, save for an axe's cleaving bite. I must repel these forces before they come over here.

The chest

After you enter this event, you will have to travese forwards until you encounter a necromancer and then a mercenary. Once the two are dispatched, continue onwards until you enter a opening with two paths.

On the right path is a optional necromancer boss who guards one Golden Chest. While the left path has two mercenaries guarding it, but must be traversed to continue on. After a short while, you will encounter another mercenary and necromancer, once dealt with, smash any breakables and eat the mushrooms that can be found for health.

Shortly after this, you will have to fight another mercenary and the final necromancer boss to complete the event.

• 4 Cave with a chance of 74.1% Common, 18.5% Uncommon, and 7.4% Rare
• 4 Cave with a chance of 58.8% Common, 29.4% Uncommon, and 11.8% Rare
• 4 Cave with a chance of 46.2% Common, 38.5% Uncommon, and 15.4% Rare

Difficulty

The difficulty of the enemies scales with your own level. The level of your enemies increases each stage as seen in the following table:
