Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Kill all goblins (0/8)
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Starting Off[edit]
To get this quest, speak to the Imperial envoy, Gaius Platorius:
- "So, what do you know about goblins? Filthy little creatures, all of them! They've infested the hills just north of here. The Empire has posted a bounty for each goblin killed. Are you up for it?"
- Sure, why not.
- "Good. Return to me when the deed is done."
This quest has to be completed a total of four times in order to progress to The Red and the White.
Before starting this quest, ensure you have a weapon that does bashing damage and frost damage as the goblin skirmishers encountered are weak to both.
The second time you have to do this quest his greeting will change but the rest of the dialogue is the same as above:
- "There's always more goblins to kill! Are you up for it?"
His third greeting:
- "More goblins have been spotted in the hills."
Cull the Goblins[edit]
When you start you will have to progress through a couple of empty rooms before bumping into the first two goblin skirmishers, after dealing with them, collect the wooden chest in the middle of the room. There are two hallways after this room, one to the left and one to the right, the one to the left is empty except for some food items. To continue you have to go through the right hallway. As you go through this hallway you will have to deal with another two goblin skirmishers, once they are dealt with, collect the wooden chest next to where they were.
Further on you will have to deal with a single goblin skirmisher and then another in a later hallway. You will eventually reach a final hallway which contains the final two goblin skirmishers that you will have to kill to complete the quest.
Post-Quest[edit]
Once you return from the quest:
- "You managed to rid us of some goblins, eh? I'm impressed! Return to me again if you feel like goblin hunting. There's plenty more to kill."
Once you return the second time:
- "Back already? It seems goblins are no match for you, eh? Return to me again if you feel like goblin hunting. There's plenty more to kill."
Once you return for the third time:
- "Perhaps we should call you the Goblin Slayer!"
