• Onyx Cleaver is identical in appearance to Shadowrend's axe variant, while the Onyx Saber is identical to Shadowrend's sword variant
• These separate artifacts were probably created as a solution to there not being a feature implemented to change between weapon types, just like Shadowrend's Oblivion and Skyrim Creation Club can.
