Harran Iron-Heart

Harran Iron-Heart was a Nord warrior and Imperial legionnaire turned Stormcloak. After being pressured by his father-in-law Sellus Prelius into joining up with the Legion, he was deployed at Fort Pale Pass. A few months ago he went missing after going out on patrol, and his wife Lassinia and daughter Ellina will ask for your help in finding him.

You will find his bloodied corpse just inside the Serpent's Trail, next to a worn Elven sword. Harran wore a suit of iron armor and Imperial boots, and carries an Imperial sword, his journal and a random selection of gold, lockpicks, rings, food and drink.

His journal explains how witnessing the war crimes of the Thalmor radicalised him into abandoning his Imperial loyalties and joining up with a Stormcloak splinter group, until he was hunted down and slain by agents of the Aldmeri Dominion.
