Gautierre Manor is a private estate in the northern reaches of County Bruma.
It is located in the foothills of the Jerall Mountains, to the east of Dragonclaw Rock and in the shadow of Gnoll Mountain, along a dirt track heading east from the Silver Road. The exterior is always guarded by a hostile guard and before the related quest the door is locked and requires a key. After the quest, the house will be open and may be inhabited by Atul. The basement can only be accessed during the quest.

Walkthrough[edit]
The manor is split on two floors and patrolled by a hostile guard. On the bottom floor you will find a sitting room and the dining room, with plenty of silver cutlery, food and drink lying around, including a portion of dawnshade. On the top floor are Guatierre's study and his bedroom. In the former, you will find an incriminating letter, a fair amount of gold, and a Scroll of Fast Healing sitting atop a safe. In the latter are a strongbox, a ruby, a copper necklace as well as plenty of gold coins and purses lying around. In the library you will find the rare books The Old Ways, The Waters of Oblivion, The Wild Elves (2 copies), Fragment: Reman Text and A Treatise on the All-Seeing Scrolls.
The basement can only be accessed during the related quest, when you'll have to destroy a barrel concealing the trap door entrance. Here you will find Simund and Atul, lounging in a richly decorated bedroom. As well as a double bed, a strongbox and a chest, you will find a few loose coins and purses, 3 pearls, a potion of Healing, a potion of Minor Stamina, assorted books and a steel sword.
