Virani

Virani is a High Elf mage from the Archaeology Guild presently in Chorrol investigating rumors of a lost Ayleid ruin under the city.

Before the quest Gate Into A Dark History, Virani can always be found in the Twin Goblet Alehouse. Except for eating breakfast at 8am and dinner at 8pm (each time for two hours), she remains in her room, writing; she sleeps from midnight to 6am. Once you've unlocked the Silver Gate, she will join you in the tunnels below to tell you about it and advance the quest; when you open the gate, she'll follow you through and remain on the other side, coordinating efforts to make a camp and further explore the area. In the caves, she'll be far too busy to sleep.

She wears a red robe and carries a key to her room at the Twin Goblet.

If you talk to her before the quest, she'll just say: "I think you have the wrong room! At least, I hope you have the wrong room, you look quite capable of violence."
