The Public Bathing House

The Public Bathing House and Gardens is a public bathhouse that also holds a garden on the upper floors. It is located in the Imperial City Market District, north of the gate to the Elven Gardens District.

The entrance leads straight to the pool room itself, a cavernous chamber with a large pool for swimming and a smaller one for soaking. Several braziers around the room provide heat and light, keeping the place warm and steamy at all times of the year.

A door at one end of the pool room leads to a changing room. Several cupboards along one wall are provided for patrons to store their clothing, and a table holds clean towels. A large spiral staircase leads up to the public gardens, and a trapdoor leads down to the private area.

The gardens are located on the topmost floor of the building. It is a walkway lined on both sides with plants and waterfalls, and ivy attached to the ceiling to provide the illusion of a forest bower; benches have been placed in the middle for people to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

The private area in the basement is a room shared by the staff, Peric and Selvia Urgeli. It has two beds, bookcases, and tables. While small, it is cozy and has enough room for both people to move around comfortably.
