Garvey

Garvey is a Nord thief who lives in Anvil. He retired and spends a good amount of his time writing his memoirs and swapping stories with other sailors at the local tavern.

Garvey gets up at 4am every morning and spends a few hours tidying up around the house before he eats breakfast at 8am. At 11am, he sits down to do some writing for a couple of hours, then spends a couple more reading over his work (or some other book, depending on his mood). At 3pm, he goes to The Retired Pirate for a late lunch and some beer; he returns home at 7pm to read a book for an hour before retiring to bed at 10pm.

He wears a dark shirt, tan linen pants, and quilted shoes, and is armed with a fine steel dagger. He carries a copy of Fundaments of Alchemy, a gold nugget, three bottles of cheap wine, a Gypsy tart, and a key to his house.

Garvey's house is large and rather Spartan, though clean. It is located in the northern part of Anvil, behind The Count's Arms. The entryway has nothing but a tall table and chair. The rest of the ground floor serves as his dining room; it has a table and bench facing the fireplace, along with a couple sets of shelves for storage. An alcove at the far end of the room holds crates and barrels. The upstairs only covers part of the house; it has two small rooms, one of which serves as his writing room (it has a small desk and chair), and other being his bedroom (a single bed and an end table).

Aside from rumors, Garvey has nothing to say.
