Skills determine how well you perform their related actions. The higher a skill's value, the greater your chance of success. There are 18 skills in Battlespire, and each has a corresponding Attribute.
Skills are increased by usage during the game. They may also be increased by spending build points either during character creation or upon leveling up after completing a level.

Notes[edit]
- Throughout the game, Running is implied to be a skill, though the term is not actually defined in-game. This is likely an error carried over from Daggerfall, where Running was a skill governed by the Speed attribute. Based on Daggerfall's description of the skill and lack of sprinting in Battlespire, it is likely that Running does not affect any in-game mechanics.
