- Barrier: Invoke defensive tactics to protect yourself and nearby group members with wards that each absorb up to [30750 / 31088 / 31425 / 31765] damage for 30 seconds.
- Reviving Barrier: Invoke defensive tactics to protect yourself and nearby group members with wards that each absorb up to 31763 damage for 30 seconds. The wards also heal you and your group members for [14300 / 14440 / 14603 / 14779] Health over 15 seconds.
- Replenishing Barrier: Invoke defensive tactics to protect yourself and nearby group members with wards that each absorb up to 31763 damage. Each time a ward dissolves, you restore [1 / 2 / 3 / 4] Ultimate and [700 / 800 / 900 / 1000] Magicka.
Barrier gives you and all nearby allies a powerful Damage Shield. The Reviving Barrier morph restores you and your allies' Health as well, while Replenishing Barrier restores your Ultimate and Magicka whenever an ally's shield expires.
Patch Notes[edit]
- Replenishing Barrier: We have made this ability's tooltip is clearer—it now lists the correct amount of magicka restored.
- Fixed an issue where the damage shield could be stacked multiple times.
- Different ranks of this ability will no longer stack.
- Fixed an issue so the effectiveness of both the shield and heal now scale off of your maximum magicka or maximum stamina.
- Reviving Barrier: This ability now ticks every 2 seconds instead of every 1.5 seconds, and the healing component of this ability will now remain even after the shield has been destroyed.
- Reviving Barrier: Fixed an issue with the timing of the visual effects for this ability.
- Reduced the amount of targets this ability and its morphs affect to a maximum of 6 targets, previously 20 targets.
- Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs to 200 Ultimate from 250 Ultimate.
- This ability and its morphs will now place Damage Shields on low-health targets that are not already shielded by Barrier, instead of targets that are closest to the caster.
- Replenishing Barrier: Increased the Ultimate restoration from this morph to 6 Ultimate per ward that dissolves from 4.
- This ability and its morphs will now affect up to 12 grouped allies, instead of 6 allies.
- Reviving Barrier:
- Reduced the heal per tick from this ability by approximately 11%.
- Reduced the duration to 15 seconds from 30 seconds, but increased the frequency of the tick to 1 second from 1.5 seconds.
- Added a 1 second delay to the first heal tick.
- Replenishing Barrier:
- The Magicka restored from this ability's conditional requirement now restores a flat amount of Magicka, rather than a percentage of your Max Magicka. Restore is now 1000 at Rank IV.
- Reduced the amount of Ultimate restored per shield dissolve to 4 from 6. Note since this ability can now affect more targets, the total restore of both the Magicka and Ultimate can potentially be higher.
- Fixed an issue where the visual effects for the shield would fail to persist if the original shield was refreshed.
- Increased the cost of this Ultimate and its morphs to 250, up from 200, to ensure it meets standards with other Ultimates that apply to 12 targets.
- Replenishing Barrier (morph): Fixed an issue where this ability could apply to non-grouped targets.
