"Mortals apparently enjoy hunting as much as Dremora do. As I understand it, unlike we Daedra who simply appreciate the challenge, they actually consume whatever prey they catch. Disgusting. I find it hard to believe that Lord Dagon gave them a piece of the Deadlands for such a purpose." —Rynkyus

The Isle of Joys is an abandoned retreat of the Longhouse Emperors in The Deadlands. It was used as a Daedric hunting grounds by them, and those Daedra still roam the area to this day. Crumbling Imperial ruins dot the landscape.
It is accessed via an Oblivion portal located at the top of the Traitor's Ascent, which only becomes active during the related quest. A Battered Map is found here.
