Corintthac the Abomination

Corintthac the Abomination is a Reachman briarheart belonging to the Winterborn clan. He appears at the Accursed Nursery once the first two waves of enemies are defeated arriving as the flock of birds. Early on in the fight, he transforms into a glowing lurcher.

He has a chance to drop the Onyx Accent Stones antiquity lead for the Ring of the Pale Order.

Skills and Abilities

Thorn Blast

Corintthac rears both of his arms before shooting a spray of sharp thorns outwards, indicated by a large and wide cone AoE, dealing very high physical damage. Corintthac gains a slight damage shield during the wind-up of this attack.

Spreading Vines

Corintthac plunges of one of his arms into the ground, releasing vines that slither across the ground outward, indicated by five circular AoEs, initially dealing high physical damage and rooting you in place if you are touched. When rooted, you continue to take high poison damage, and must dodge or break away.

Energy Release

Corintthac begins shaking while rooted in place, releasing dark red magic around him, indicated by a large circular AoE, dealing continuous very high magical damage.

Dialogue

When he first appears, he will announce his coming with one ofthe following:

Corintthac the Abomination: "Through fire, vines, and blood, I shall consecrate your corpses."

Corintthac the Abomination: "The ritual, interrupted, is nearly complete. You will be my final test."

Corintthac the Abomination: "With my power, the Reach will attain the Ruby Throne once more!"

When he transforms, he will say one of the following:

Corintthac the Abomination: "The ritual is complete! Know my true wrath!"

Corintthac the Abomination: "Behold my devotion, as I become the Guardian of the Reach!"

Corintthac the Abomination: "Thank you, blessed mothers, for the gifts you give me!"
