Lore:Indigo Tomes

The Indigo Tomes (or Indigo Scrolls) are a mysterious collection of tomes found somewhere in the vaults of Necrom. They are very difficult to access, though according to rumor, Princess Ayrenn of Alinor managed to read them by sneaking into the vaults disguised as a Dunmer. The existence of the Indigo Tomes was a closely held secret for centuries by the Keepers of the Dead, however Headmaster Tanion's offhand mention of the tomes in his book Ayrenn: The Unforeseen Queen caused the Keepers a small amount of grief, according to Divayth Fyr.
