Image Revert[edit]
As you can see, SerCenKing has reverted the image back to a previous one, because my image is "a bit weird and squished". I don't think that makes sense at all, seeing that she simply is a thin woman. And to be honest, I think my image here is one of the best NPC images I have ever taken, and that's why I'm making a big deal out of this (we all know I can be very sensitive about (my) images). Can anyone give their opinion on this? SerCenKing, I'm sorry if it seems rude to bring up the matter like this, but you seem to be absent since the revert, and I'd rather get people's opinion asap, considering the whole Skyrim thing etc. Thank you ~ Dwarfmp 23:07, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Yours is better. The brightness of the current one is unnatural looking. elliot (talk) 02:41, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry for not being around, I've got a lot of uni work to do. To me your version looks very awkwardly squashed for some reason.. Try getting a full shot of her, rather than from the knees the up, that might help. --SerCenKing Talk 11:11, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- She's really tricky to do properly. We've had five different versions and none of them is great. As I said in an earlier comment: "She's a tricky one to get right!" I slightly prefer Serc's version, although I agree the colours aren't right, but I think an entirely new image is called for here. rpeh •T•C•E• 11:40, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- This seems to be a common problem with most female Altmer; they tend to look “wrong” on images, even if the image shows exactly how they appear in the game. Just check this edit summary for Ranaline’s image. A quick glance at Caranya in the game reveals that she looks exactly like her images. That being said, all three "high-res"-versions of the image could be better – personally, I think SerC’s version from June 4th 2009 is the best one as she will ALWAYS look squeezed when looking directly into the camera. Unfortunately, it’s very low resolution so a new image is called for. --Krusty 12:14, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
