Are you sure this is a Gnisis banner? It doesn't say Gnisis anywhere on it. The largest letters read "TSHWS", (not sure about the H, could be a B) There is definitely no G or N anywhere on the banner. Still trying to decode the rest of it, but the letters seem to be either random, or in some sort of code. Where exactly in Gnisis was this sign seen? --TheRealLurlock 14:21, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

Okay, I found the message - THE THRICE SEALED HOUSE WITHSTANDS THE STORM. Each large letter is the beginning of a word. Not sure what the significance of this is. Definitely doesn't say Gnisis, though. --TheRealLurlock 14:26, 5 October 2006 (EDT)

The real question would be - Is this banner found anywhere else as well? I think there's a lot of banners like that hanging in Vivec. It's also possible that it's just seen in Redoran-controlled cities, or in cities with a Tribunal temple, of which Gnisis is both. I'd also consider the Imperial Legion, but that would be more likely if it were at the east gate of the city, where the fort is. Plus, the phrase sounds more like a Redoran or Tribunal proverb than anything you'd hear out of those uptight Imperials. Anyhow, I'd check to see where else this banner can be found before assuming it's specific to Gnisis. --TheRealLurlock 09:17, 6 October 2006 (EDT)

As the image poster, I should probably weigh in on why I named it "Gnisis" and inserted it in said article: it was identified as "Gnisis.dds" (or some such, I'll get you the proper name in an hour or two) in the textures bsa. It's as simple as that. Insofar as I am aware, the image appears in no other area of Morrowind. I am afraid I cannot run Morrowind at the moment (my disc being scratched beyond repair) and I only retain the bsa files themselves, thus, I can be of no further aid. -- Graye 09:49, 6 October 2006 (EDT)

I took the last uploaded image from the CS disk, and there it's called Tx_banner_gnisis_01.tga, so it in deed belong to Gnisis. However, there is another copy in the Ministry of Truth, Hall of Processing. --DrPhoton 15:00, 6 October 2006 (EDT)
