Separate Page[edit]
Is it really necessary to have the Dragonborn achievements on a separate page? I know a precedent was set by Shivering:Xbox 360 Achievements, but to be honest I think it's a bad idea. We already have the other add-on achievements listed on Skyrim:Achievements; I propose that this page be converted to a redirect, to keep all the achievements together. —Legoless (talk) 19:27, 4 December 2012 (GMT)
- That's what I thought was going to happen when I added the list to the Skyrim page. I think it's the logical thing to do, or atleast have the achievements listed there aswell. - Emoboy64 19:31, 4 December 2012 (GMT)

- I also think it would be better to have them all together. At the moment only the Dragonborn ones are separate and unlike with Oblivion even the small DLC without its own name space has achievements. I was about to add them myself until I noticed in the history that they had been moved. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 08:51, 13 December 2012 (GMT)

- I'm not totally against merging them, but if we do, then the Shivering achievements page has to be moved too. To not do so invites hypocrisy. There is no reason why Shivering should have one and Dragonborn not, and it was the basis for my reasoning that they be separate in the first place. (←) Honestly, DB and SI are about the same size. I think SI might have been a bit bigger, but not much. DG had a large quest line, new factions and a few new locations, but no new real land area. Both DB and SI added large amounts of playable area, which I think is the main difference between them and the smaller add-ons. Art is the single largest time sink in a game. My bet is, DB and SI had a similar amount of development time and resources. But I'm getting off topic :) Jeancey (talk) 20:07, 23 December 2012 (GMT)
- I disagree completely with the merge. It was already established in CP that DB is an expansion, not a plug-in, and I have seen people change instances of "plug-in" to "expansion" for consistency across the namespace. And that's another thing (which Jeancey already mentioned): DB has its own namespace, and pretty much anything DB-related (mostly) has been documented on its own pages, e.g., Dragon Shouts (although it only has 4) has its own page. I don't see why DB's 10 achievements should be any different. Also, we always strive for consistency across the site, so, since SI has its own page, and we document DB stuff on their own pages (mostly; I know there are exceptions, like passive creatures), I don't think this page should be merged. ~ Psylocke 12:59, 24 December 2012 (GMT)

- If we're going to split up the Skyrim DLC achievements, then I'd have to argue for Skyrim subpages for DG and HF. It seems disorganised and confusing to only partially list DLC achievements on the Skyrim article. A redirect in the Dragonborn namespace should be a sufficient crossover. —Legoless (talk) 02:59, 25 December 2012 (GMT)

- My 2 cents, it makes no sense to have 3 of the 4 sets of achievements in one place and not the rest, until coming here I just assumed no one had taken the time to include them yet so the achievements page on the main skyrim page was just incomplete. Also is there any reason you could list them both there, for huge amount of convenience so you can see every possible achievement in skyrim and also on this page, is there a rule against posting them in both places? (←) I've implemented a possible solution, transcluding the ones here to the Skyrim page. This way if someone checks the Skyrim page they see "all" the achievements, and if they look on the Dragonborn page they see only the ones that are added by Dragonborn. At the Summit of Apocrypha = At the Mountains of Madness[edit]
Since it's clearly obvious Hermaeus Mora and his realm of Oblivion are based on Lovecraft's works, would it be safe to add a note explaining that the quest and achievement are in reference to another of Lovecraft's works, At The Mountains of Madness? --Rezalon (talk) 01:25, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
